The Sound is a country band from Nashville, Tennessee. Comprised of brothers Levi & Jacob Mills along with their dad, Rob, they are known for their transcendent harmonies and magnetic live performances. 

Rob grew up in western North Carolina playing bluegrass and country music. As children, armed with their dad’s cassette collection, Levi & Jacob gravitated towards a specific type of music: the classic country band; big vocals, signature guitar intros, and timeless melodies.

Rob worked at a local church while raising his family and the Mills kids played Christian music for most of their lives. They’re open about their faith being the center of their world. The three of them became The Sound and released a Dove Award-winning county-pop inspired Christian album together.

In May 2025, the trio began posting short clips singing classic country songs in a hotel stairwell. What started as a fun, easy outlet for sharing some of their favorite music became a literal overnight sensation. Before the end of the year, the entire series surpassed 100 million views and had introduced them to 750,000 new followers.
